Get all the way out there
Need to stay in touch when you're way out in the boonies? Midland's MXT575 MicroMobile radio gives you 50 watts of broadcast power, plus a fully integrated handheld control that's rugged and easy to use. The MXT575's compact design and do-it-all mic make it an ideal choice when you need maximum power, but have minimal installation space to work with. It's ideal for car, truck, or ATV use, or you can set it up at your home or hunting lodge.
Maximum range
With a full 50 watts of power (the most allowed by law) and an external magnetic-mount antenna, the MXT575 offers remarkable range over open terrain. You can access 8 repeater channels and 15 high/low power channels (GMRS Channels: 1-7 and 15-22) with the mic's easy-to-reach buttons, while 142 privacy codes make it unlikely that you'll trip over anyone else's transmissions. You can scan channels, too, so you won't miss anything if you don't want to. This radio also communicates with Midland GMRS radios and most walkie-talkies.
Mind the weather
To keep up with changing conditions in the field, the MXT575 gives you 10 NOAA weather channels. If a nasty front's rolling in, you'll be able to plan accordingly.
Clarity, control, and charging
The external microphone ensures that you'll be heard clearly while putting all the controls right where you need them. The "silent mode" operation keeps distracting beeps and tones out of the mix, and you'll also appreciate features like auto-squelch, monitor mode, keypad lock, an external speaker jack, digital volume controls, and a backlit high-contrast LCD that's easy to see, day or night. There's even a charging USB port so you can keep your phone and other devices at the ready, too.
